Registered Authentic

Registered Authentic authenticates motorsport memorabilia such as race-worn helmets, suits and gloves. They needed the whole operation online, not just a website. Corey designed and built all of it: an editorial public site in 15 languages, a guided submission flow, certificates with public verification pages, a staff dashboard with a purpose-built photo comparison tool, and an admin area where the owner changes colors, page text and legal pages without a developer.

Public website

An editorial marketing site built around the company's padlock RA mark. It explains the process step by step and covers About, order tracking, certificate verification and the legal pages.

Every page is translated into 15 languages, including right-to-left Arabic. The site has dark and light themes, and the owner decides which one visitors see or lets them switch.

  • The six-step process section of the Registered Authentic home page
  • Registered Authentic home page on a phone

A logo that follows the theme

The approved logo was rebuilt as a vector that recolors itself from the site theme: the padlock takes the text color, the R the background color and the A the accent.

Browser-tab and home-screen icons are rendered from the theme as well, so a change of brand colors carries through everywhere at once.

A hidden brand-kit page offers every logo format, from SVG and PNG in three sizes to app icons and color codes, with a single zip download.

  • Theme settings with dark and light palettes and a live preview

Submitting an item

Collectors submit through a guided form: about you, the item, provenance, photos, review and a deposit. Drafts are saved, so they can leave and come back.

Depending on the item's declared value, the collector either photographs it live with their own phone through a secure link, or ships it to one of the company's intake locations for a hands-on inspection.

For live capture, each of the 49 shot types comes with a written brief and an example photo showing exactly what to capture. The owner manages those example photos in the admin area.

  • First step of the submission form, with the email field blurred
  • Example-photo manager showing the helmet shots customers are asked to take

Certificates and Photo Match

Specialists prove an item is the real race-used piece with Photo Match, a tool built for the job. They mark matching scuffs, stickers and signatures with numbered rings on the item photo and on historical race photography, or lay one photo over the other with a fade or a swipe divider.

Each approved item gets a certificate number, a public verification page and a generated PDF. The matched evidence is published on both, and the public page shows it side by side.

  • Public certificate verification page for an authenticated helmet
  • Generated certificate of authenticity PDF
  • Photo Match tool comparing a reference photo with the item side by side
  • Photo Match overlay mode laying the item photo over the reference

Run by the owner

Everything a non-technical owner needs to change lives in the dashboard settings: theme, fonts and page backgrounds with a live preview, intake locations, order routing and staff notifications.

Admins can also edit marketing text and legal pages directly on the live page. The staff side has a ledger of every certificate issued and a help page that explains the two authentication paths and the status of a submission at each step.

  • Intake locations manager in the admin settings
  • Order routing settings for assigning new submissions
  • Authentication ledger of issued certificates, with one column blurred
  • Staff help page describing the two authentication paths and the status lifecycle
